About the Role

  • We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and position a top-tier resort as the premier destination for high-end hospitality experiences in Lagos. 
  • This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels at identifying new business opportunities, building strong industry partnerships, and crafting innovative sales strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Acquisition & Partnerships: Identify and engage corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies; develop strategic partnerships in the hospitality industry.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Execute sales strategies to attract high-end guests, promote resort services, and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, identify new opportunities, and provide insights for pricing and promotions.
  • Brand Awareness & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns, represent the resort at industry events, and enhance visibility across platforms.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Contract Negotiation & Business Deals: Secure beneficial agreements with stakeholders to align with the resort’s growth objectives.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, track market trends, and maintain an updated CRM system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the hospitality or luxury sector.
  • Proven ability to secure partnerships and consistently hit revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for luxury hospitality.
  • Knowledge of Lagos’ hospitality and luxury market is a plus.
