Role Overview
- Our client is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the Cybersecurity Technology Sales efforts in Lagos.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Cybersecurity/Technology sales, excellent communication skills, the ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, partners (and government agencies).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on acquiring new accounts and growing existing client relationships.
- Identify prospects, build a strong pipeline, conduct thorough assessment of client needs to offer tailored cybersecurity solutions that address specific business challenges and security requirements.
- Build and leverage relationships with key decision makers within and beyond the territory.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team, Technical experts, and internal stakeholders to deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Trusted Advisor- nurtures long-term relationships with key accounts by understanding their evolving needs, and providing proactive guidance on security best practices and solutions.
- Primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring timely delivery of services while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity to effectively position our offerings and provide valuable insights to clients.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates on account activities using CRM tools to track progress and contribute to sales strategy discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields.
- Proven track record of at least 5-8 years in Cybersecurity, Technology sales is a must.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and products/services.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and productivity tools.
- Ideal candidate must reside in Lagos.
