Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • Our client is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the Cybersecurity Technology Sales efforts in Lagos.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Cybersecurity/Technology sales, excellent communication skills, the ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, partners (and government agencies).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on acquiring new accounts and growing existing client relationships.
  • Identify prospects, build a strong pipeline, conduct thorough assessment of client needs to offer tailored cybersecurity solutions that address specific business challenges and security requirements.
  • Build and leverage relationships with key decision makers within and beyond the territory.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team, Technical experts, and internal stakeholders to deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Trusted Advisor- nurtures long-term relationships with key accounts by understanding their evolving needs, and providing proactive guidance on security best practices and solutions.
  • Primary point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring timely delivery of services while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity to effectively position our offerings and provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates on account activities using CRM tools to track progress and contribute to sales strategy discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Proven track record of at least 5-8 years in Cybersecurity, Technology sales is a must.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and products/services.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and productivity tools.
  • Ideal candidate must reside in Lagos.
