We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Retail Sales Training Coordinator

Location: Ikoyi (Awolowo Road), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement learning and development strategy and framework to guide the development and growth of retail agency staff.
  • Maintain an organized calendar of retail training events and communicate schedules effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Develop training courses and programmes for retail agency staff.
  • Maintain a comprehensive training calendar to ensure timely delivery of programs.
  • Identify training needs by conducting assessments and analyzing sales performance metrics to determine areas of improvement.
  • Gather feedback from training participants and managers to assess the effectiveness of sessions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Maintain learning and development spending against the HR Training budget.
  • Organize and facilitate in-house training sessions and workshops.
  • Regularly audit training resources to ensure alignment with current company goals and retail best practices.
  • Liaise with external trainers and vendors to deliver specialized training programs.
  • Stay updated on the latest sales techniques, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve training programs.
  • Support employees during training by providing necessary resources and guidance.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants.
  • Ensure training programs meet the organization's standards and budget requirements.
  • Ensure all training initiatives comply with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., ITF or equivalent).

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Retail Sales is compulsory.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer service principles, and retail operations.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in sales, and training.
