Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Nigeria (Remote)

Summary

  • The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the skincare business. 
  • This role involves managing product development, marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer engagement to drive growth.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in business strategy, digital marketing, and brand management within the beauty or skincare industry.

Job Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Operations:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and brand expansion.
  • Oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key business metrics, and provide regular reports.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with vendors, distributors, and influencers.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and secure B2B partnerships with beauty retailers, spas, and dermatologists.
  • Manage pricing strategies to optimize profit margins while maintaining affordability.
  • Monitor customer purchasing patterns and suggest new sales channels.

Marketing & Brand Management:

  • Develop and oversee the marketing strategy across social media, e-commerce platforms, and offline channels.
  • Collaborate with content creators, social media managers, and designers to ensure brand consistency.
  • Plan and execute product launches, influencer campaigns, and promotional events.
  • Optimize brand presence onInstagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

E-Commerce & Digital Growth:

  • Oversee the brand’s online store and e-commerce operations.
  • Develop strategies for increasing traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Identify and integrate new digital tools and payment solutions to enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews to improve product offerings.

Customer Experience & Community Building:

  • Foster strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and engagement.
  • Develop loyalty programs, referral campaigns, and special promotions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
  • Engage with skincare communities to build brand trust and credibility.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise and collaborate with remote teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Set clear objectives and KPIs to measure team success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience inbusiness management, brand management, or sales, preferably in the skincare/beauty industry.
  • Strong knowledge ofdigital marketing, influencer partnerships, and e-commerce.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and develop brand positioning strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience withdata analytics, customer insights, and performance tracking tools.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, Google Suite, and CRM tools.
  • Passion for skincare, beauty trends, and customer satisfaction.
