Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Locations: Warra, Ngaski LGA - Kebbi
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated Human Resource Officer to join our dynamic mining operations team in Kebbi state, North-West Nigeria. In this role, you will work along other HR professionals to manage key HR functions on-site and ensure the seamless delivery of HR services that support our fast-paced project environment.
  • This position requires immediate resumption, and a relocation subsidy will be provided to support your move.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Recruitment:

  • Conduct headhunting and talent sourcing for key roles.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws and employment contracts.

Employee Relations & On-boarding:

  • Manage employee relations to foster a positive work environment.
  • Coordinate effective on-boarding processes to integrate new hires smoothly.

Industrial Relations:

  • Serve as a liaison for industrial relations, ensuring adherence to legal standards and harmonious workplace practices.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems in alignment with company policies.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HIRS (Human Resource InformationSystem) for data management.
  • Ensure policies and procedures meet legal requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR role, with proven expertise in the areas mentioned above.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related Social Science courses.
  • Prior experience in a production facility will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and employment contracts.
  • Proven training in HR Fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with HR software systems, particularly HIRS.
  • Must be adaptable to working on-site at ourproject location and ready to resume immediately.
  • Willingness to relocate; company accommodation and a relocation subsidy are provided.

  • Salary: N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
