We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Entry Officer

Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Officer to join our team at SIMS Nigeria Limited. 
  • This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely data entry related to factory operations, including inventory, production records, and quality control data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update factory data in company systems.
  • Maintain and organize production and inventory records.
  • Verify data for errors and inconsistencies.
  • Generate reports for management and other departments.
  • Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth data flow.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company data.
  • Vehicle log book report
  • Factory staff casual leave records
  • Generator log book report
  • Factory daily production report
  • Truck trip vs maintenance report
  • CKD production defective / shortage claim report
  • Factory staff daily attendance/lateness records
  • Prepares monthly deductions for factory staff salary
  • Vehicle trip record for CWH
  • Inbound/outbound report for CWH
  • Daily LTO/LTR entry into the system data base
  • Filling of LTO/LTR papers into their respective branches’ files
  • Paper work for project manager
  • GRN for CKD materials and back to warehouse note
  • All other data capturing/reporting as demanded by the factory manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years experience
  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative work (preferably in a manufacturing or factory setting).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
