Job Summary
- The Head, Portfolio will be responsible for overseeing the company’s product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market trends, business objectives, and consumer preferences.
- The ideal candidate will drive portfolio strategy, manage product lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies to drive growth, market share, and profitability.
- Lead the management of the product lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization and retirement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.
- Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure successful product development and launches.
- Monitor product performance, consumer trends, and industry developments to make data-driven decisions.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the current product lineup to enhance brand positioning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance guidelines.
- Manage pricing strategies and cost optimization for maximum profitability.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to portfolio management teams.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in portfolio management, product development, or brand management within the FMCG or beverage industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and portfolio optimization.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and drive strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools.
