Job Summary

• The Head, Portfolio will be responsible for overseeing the company’s product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market trends, business objectives, and consumer preferences.
• The ideal candidate will drive portfolio strategy, manage product lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute portfolio strategies to drive growth, market share, and profitability.
• Lead the management of the product lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization and retirement.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure successful product development and launches.
• Monitor product performance, consumer trends, and industry developments to make data-driven decisions.
• Identify gaps and opportunities in the current product lineup to enhance brand positioning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance guidelines.
• Manage pricing strategies and cost optimization for maximum profitability.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to portfolio management teams.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in portfolio management, product development, or brand management within the FMCG or beverage industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.
• Proven track record of successful product launches and portfolio optimization.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive strategic initiatives.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools.
