We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory / Procurement Officer

Location: Bodija, Ibadan - Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels, confirm low-stock items, and ensure timely restocking.
  • Source and procure raw materials and supplies from approved vendors at the best prices.
  • Verify the quantity, quality, and expiry dates of received goods before acceptance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchases and inventory updates.
  • Plan and consolidate purchases to reduce logistics costs and avoid emergency orders.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, minimizing waste and mismanagement.
  • Work closely with suppliers, the inventory team, and management to streamline operations.
  • Report any discrepancies in deliveries and take action against repeated vendor issues.
  • Obtain managerial approval for any price changes before purchasing.
  • Enforce proper procurement and stock management procedures to support bakery efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory and procurement management software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to optimize costs through strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Must live very close to Bodija, Ibadan.
  • Work hours are 8:30am to 6pm daily with 30 mins break.
