We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head Chef (Neighborhood Cafe)

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Role Objective

  • The Head Chef will be responsible for designing and executing the menu for the Neighborhood Cafe, aligning with the company’s commitment to premium service and client satisfaction. 
  • They will create unique, high-quality dishes that cater to the tastes of spa clients, ensuring a delightful and memorable culinary experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a diverse and appealing menu that complements the wellness and beauty experience of the spa.
  • Prepare and oversee the creation of fresh, high-quality dishes that cater to various dietary preferences.
  • Maintain a balance between simplicity and premium quality, focusing on a memorable client dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the procurement officer to source quality ingredients, ensuring consistency and freshness.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Monitor food costs, portion sizes, and kitchen operations to maximize profitability.
  • Stay updated on food trends to continuously innovate and refine menu offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef or culinary lead, preferably in cafes or wellness-oriented establishments.
  • Creativity and passion for creating dishes that elevate the dining experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage the kitchen team effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to balance cost management with premium service quality.
