Job Summary

  • We are recruiting a Business Development / Client Acquisition Executive (CSE 001) for a fast-growing logistics and transportation company. 
  • This role is focused on driving business growth by proactively acquiring and onboarding targeted B2B clients. 
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in achieving the ambitious target of 5,000 successful client registrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential B2B clients for onboarding as vendors.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets for successful client registrations.
  • Convert leads generated by the Sales Operations team into registered vendors.
  • Build and nurture strong professional relationships with B2B clients.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of the business to prospects.
  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations and product/service demos.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and close registration deals effectively.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, target progress, and potential challenges.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless lead management and support.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in client acquisition, direct sales, or business development (preferably in a B2B setting).

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting sales goals.
  • Resilient and persistent in client follow-up.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. CRM familiarity is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: Standard working hours
  • Saturday: On-request availability
  • Must be reachable and responsive on all communication channels.

Reports To:

  • Sales Operation/Administration/Coordination Executive (for operational guidance) and ultimately the Team Lead (Commercial & Operations).

Benefits

  • Net Monthly Salary: N200,000 (after deductions)
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonuses are awarded for each successful client registration.
  • Incentives: Additional performance-based rewards may be considered.
