Position Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong client relationships within the construction and architectural sectors.
- This role requires a solid understanding of industry trends, project cycles, and client engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and secure new business opportunities to meet and exceed the monthly sales target
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate developers, architects, contractors, facility managers, government agencies, and private clients.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of tailored proposals, bids, and business presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (construction, architecture, project management) to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Monitor industry trends, conduct market analysis, and provide strategic input on business
- development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports using CRM tools.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly performance reports to management.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote the company’s services.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of the monthly revenue target
- Minimum of 3 new B2B client acquisitions per month
- Sales lead conversion rate of 30% or higher
- Client retention and satisfaction feedback
- Timely submission of reports and CRM updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction, architecture, or real estate industries.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of architectural and construction workflows and service offerings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and project site visits.
Salary
N250,000 per month.
