Job Title: Business Development Officer

Position Overview

• We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. 
• The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong client relationships within the construction and architectural sectors.
• This role requires a solid understanding of industry trends, project cycles, and client engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively source and secure new business opportunities to meet and exceed the monthly sales target
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate developers, architects, contractors, facility managers, government agencies, and private clients.
• Lead the preparation and delivery of tailored proposals, bids, and business presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams (construction, architecture, project management) to ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Monitor industry trends, conduct market analysis, and provide strategic input on business
• development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports using CRM tools.
• Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly performance reports to management.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to promote the company’s services.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Achievement of the monthly revenue target
• Minimum of 3 new B2B client acquisitions per month
• Sales lead conversion rate of 30% or higher
• Client retention and satisfaction feedback
• Timely submission of reports and CRM updates

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction, architecture, or real estate industries.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of architectural and construction workflows and service offerings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and project site visits.

Salary
N250,000 per month.
