Job Title Analyst, HR Analytics
Location: Lagos
Job Summary
Provide data support and analytics to the HR team to enable strategic decision-making which aligns HR activities and measures to key business initiatives
Principal Functions
- Support the HR team in the strategic analysis of data for various levels of management reporting such as monthly Group HR KPI reporting, HR Excellence Assessments and other external and internal reporting requirements
- Liaise with the various HR units on HR reporting needs and develop a list of key HR metrics to be tracked regularly
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of key HR data and metrics
- Liaise with HR Business Partners to prepare the organization's monthly headcount reports
- Conduct regular best practice research and provide the HR team with information on benchmarks and current trends in HR for the review and improvement of HR processes, policies and services
- Provide a consolidated view of global HR trends, demographics and other relevant data through easy-to-understand and action-oriented reports and presentations
- Use HR data to identify people trend, patterns, issues and opportunities which impact the business
- Assist in developing and implementing a system for measuring the impact of HR initiatives and performance
- Support the HR team in data mining, review of findings from employee surveys, and trend analyses
- Provide information necessary for measuring HR performance against business priorities
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager-Organization Development
Educational Requirements
- Between one (1) and two (2) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience.
- First degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science and/ or related disciplines
Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good data mining skills
- Proficiency in use of MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Strong experience in the development and use of databases
- Good research and HR analytics skills
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines and remain effective
