Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our client acquisition and revenue growth initiatives.
  • This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting our loan products to meet the financial needs of our customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services sales and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and offering appropriate loan solutions.
  • Oversee and coordinate a team of loan marketers to generate quality loan leads.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract qualified clients interested in taking loans.
  • Ensure that loan leads meet company eligibility criteria before forwarding for processing.
  • Recruit, train, and manage field marketers responsible for bringing in loan clients.
  • Set performance targets and regularly evaluate marketers’ effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the loan operation team to design and implement effective sales strategies, innovation and campaigns.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and market analysis to senior management.

Requirements

  • BSC in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales within the financial services or lending industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Google workspace, Microsoft office Suite and CRM software.
