Job Description

  • A system integration IT firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional specialist with over three years of experience to join its team in Victoria Island, Lagos.
  • The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of IT services, a proven track record of sales, developing new business opportunities, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth by delivering tailored IT managed services solutions that meet client needs.
  • Identify customer requirements and provide end-to-end business solutions.
  • Build and manage a client base, achieving revenue and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers on pricing, proposals, and customer quotes; manage the order process.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline; present proposals and close deals.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Track and report on sales activity, forecasts, and results in regular meetings.
  • Maintain technical and professional knowledge through continuous learning and networking.
  • Address and resolve customer issues, coordinating with the technical team as needed.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships to support renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to offer product and service solutions.
  • Ensure timely processing and completion of sales and data orders.
  • Provide consistent updates and reports to management on sales activities and performance.

Requirements

  • BSc / BA / HND
  • 3 - 5 years experience in IT/Tech Sales industry .
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in ICT services industry
  • Exceptional Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of work experience and exceeding sales expectations in Solution Selling IT infrastructure solutions or related products
  • Proven IT sales experience to create business and are confident in building professional relationships in B2B situations.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution in IT Managed Services, Network Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Network Security, Professional IT Services etc.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and solution-selling IT.
  • Proven experience in creating quotes around IT services.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with other functions i.e. Presales, Project Managers both at the prospecting and fulfillment engagement stages.
  • Maintain a level of sales certifications (as demanded by manager) and engage with key vendors (OEMs).
  • Market Analysis and Insights of the competition landscape.
