Job Title: Sales Manager (Hospitality & Short-Term Rentals)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our UK-based Airbnb and shortlet apartment portfolio.
  • The ideal candidate will manage property listings end-to-end, enhance visibility, drive occupancy, and maintain an excellent guest experience.
  • This role requires strong marketing capability, solid hospitality operations knowledge, and hands-on proficiency with Hostex for daily management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all Airbnb and shortlet properties in the company’s UK portfolio.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to boost bookings, occupancy, and revenue.
  • Create, optimise, and maintain listings across Airbnb and other shortlet platforms.
  • Use Hostex effectively for reservations, dynamic pricing, guest communication, and performance reporting.
  • Support the launch and promotion of the company’s pricing and messaging platform, including marketing, positioning, and user adoption.
  • Execute targeted marketing campaigns aimed at property owners, hosts, and shortlet operators.
  • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour.
  • Coordinate housekeeping operations, property readiness, and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Track reviews, respond to feedback, and implement strategies to maintain top ratings.
  • Ensure consistent brand quality and service standards across all properties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, marketing initiatives, and service delivery improvements.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or any related field
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality, real estate, or Travel.
  • Proven experience managing Airbnb, shortlet apartments, or hospitality operations.
  • Mandatory proficiency in Hostex or similar property management systems
  • Strong background in marketing & Sales , with emphasis on digital marketing and customer acquisition.
  • Experience marketing or promoting digital products or platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on performance data.

Desirable:

  • Strong sales skills with proven ability to convert leads, close deals, and build lasting client relationships.
  • Experience in marketing SaaS platforms or hospitality-tech solutions.
  • Knowledge of dynamic pricing tools and automation systems.
  • Proven experience managing Airbnb, shortlet apartments, or hospitality operations.
