Job Title: Head of Finance and Accounts
Location: Lagos

Role Summary
- The Head of Finance and Accounts is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership of the organization’s finance function
- The role ensures strong financial governance, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, effective cash flow management, and financial insights to support business growth and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance management aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost optimization.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, banking relationships, and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory obligations (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, pension, etc.).
- Lead internal and external audits and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Provide financial insights and reports to executive management and the Board.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Drive efficiency, process improvement, and automation within the finance function.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACA (ICAN) – mandatory.
- Minimum of 10+ progressive finance and accounting experience, with senior leadership exposure.
- Proven experience in financial management, reporting, taxation, audit, and compliance.
- Experience working with executive leadership and Boards.
