We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Finance and Accounts

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• The Head of Finance and Accounts is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership of the organization’s finance function
• The role ensures strong financial governance, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, effective cash flow management, and financial insights to support business growth and executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance management aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost optimization.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, banking relationships, and working capital.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory obligations (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, pension, etc.).
• Lead internal and external audits and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Provide financial insights and reports to executive management and the Board.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Drive efficiency, process improvement, and automation within the finance function.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ACA (ICAN) – mandatory.
• Minimum of 10+ progressive finance and accounting experience, with senior leadership exposure.
• Proven experience in financial management, reporting, taxation, audit, and compliance.
• Experience working with executive leadership and Boards.
