Role Overview

  • We are a premium Nigerian womenswear brand focused on quality, craftsmanship, and modern design.
  • We are seeking a Retail Sales & Brand Communications Executive to take ownership of sales, customer relationships, and brand communication from the store front.

This role sits at the centre of a small Brand Communications & Marketing team, working closely with:

  •  The Founder / Creative Director
  • A Social Media & Digital Brand Manager
  • This is a sales-led, brand-facing role for someone who understands premium retail, takes responsibility seriously, and can represent a high-quality fashion brand with confidence and professionalism.
  • This is not a passive retail or “shop attendant” role.

Key Responsibilities 
Sales Ownership (Primary Responsibility):

  • Drive daily in-store sales and customer conversion
  • Confidently present, style, and sell collections
  • Understand product details: fabric, fit, pricing, story, care
  • Follow up with customers to convert interest into sales
  • Upsell and cross-sell appropriately
  • Track and report daily and weekly sales performance

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain a client book (contacts, preferences, purchase history)
  • Follow up past customers about new arrivals, launches, and restocks
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally (in-store, WhatsApp, Instagram)
  • Ensure excellent after-sales experience and issue resolution
  • Communicate in a polished, brand-appropriate manner at all times

Brand Communications & Marketing Coordination:

  • Act as the store-based lead within the Brand Communications team
  • Work closely with the Social Media & Digital Brand Manager
  • Share customer insights, FAQs, objections, and feedback
  • Support campaigns, launches, and retail activations
  • Ensure the in-store experience aligns with brand messaging and visuals

Partner Store & Wholesale Coordination:

  • Coordinate communication with partner stores and stockists
  • Track orders, stock levels, deliveries, and feedback
  • Support outreach to potential new stockists when required
  • Report sell-through and customer feedback to management

Store & Brand Representation:

  • Maintain impeccable store presentation at all times
  • Ensure garments are steamed, displayed, and handled properly
  • Represent the brand with professionalism, discretion, and confidence
  • Uphold a polished brand tone — no casual language, gossip, or unprofessional conduct

Reporting & Accountability:

  • Daily sales reports
  • Weekly performance summaries covering:
  • Sales performance
  • Customer feedback
  • Stock issues
  • Missed opportunities
  • Accurate tracking of stock movement in-store

Work Structure

  • Working days: Tuesday to Saturday
  • Working hours: [insert hours]
  • Reports to: Founder / Operations Lead
  • Performance is reviewed strictly based on:

  • Base salary: N250,000 per month
