Job Title: Salon Trade Marketing & Development Executive
Locations: Lagos, Ibadan - Oyo, Warri - Delta and Ogun

Job Purpose
- To drive brand presence, visibility, and professional adoption of the company’s hair products within Grade A & B salons, by building strong relationships with salon owners, ensuring compliance with agreed brand standards, executing in-salon visibility initiatives, and providing ongoing product education—while supporting sales growth within the professional salon channel.
Key Responsibilities
Salon Visibility & Brand Execution:
- Ensure consistent product availability, correct assortment, and visibility across assigned Grade A & B salons.
- Execute and monitor in-salon branding, including shelves, Branding, mirrors, posters, testers, and other POS materials in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensure salons comply with signed agreements on exclusivity, display standards, and brand usage.
- Conduct regular salon audits and take corrective actions where standards are not met.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key salon owners, managers, and senior stylists.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and assigned salons.
- Handle salon feedback, concerns, and requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Education & Professional Engagement:
- Educate salon owners and stylists on product knowledge, usage, benefits, and differentiation.
- Support product demonstrations, mini-trainings, and brand sessions within salons.
- Drive professional endorsement and advocacy of the brand among stylists.
Sales Support & Business Development:
- Support sales growth within assigned salons through range expansion, repeat purchases, and upselling.
- Identify high-potential salons and growth opportunities within the territory.
- Work closely with sales and distribution teams to ensure timely product replenishment.
- Track sales performance and contribute to achieving assigned targets.
Reporting & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain accurate records of salon visits, visibility execution, education sessions, and POS deployment.
- Provide regular reports on salon performance, competitor activity, and market insights.
- Share actionable feedback to improve product, promotions, and salon engagement strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Visibility & branding compliance rate
- Number of active Grade A & B salons covered
- Product range availability and POS execution
- Education sessions conducted
- Sales growth from assigned salons
- Relationship quality and retention of key salon accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years’ experience in FMCG, professional hair, beauty, cosmetics, or salon-focused roles.
- Strong understanding of the professional salon market.
- Experience in trade marketing, key account handling, or salon development is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
