Summary

  • A fast-growing Medical Diagnostic Centre located in the heart of Kano is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth, partnerships, visibility, and revenue across its laboratory and imaging services.

Job Description

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, expanding market presence, strengthening referral networks, and increasing revenue for the diagnostic centre.

Key responsibilities include

  • Develop and execute business development and growth strategies for laboratory and imaging services
  • Identify, pursue, and manage partnerships with hospitals, clinics, HMOs, corporates, NGOs, and referring physicians
  • Drive client acquisition, retention, and referral growth
  • Oversee and manage the facility’s social media and digital presence to drive awareness, engagement, and patronage
  • Conduct regular business environment scans to identify market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, partners, and corporate clients
  • Work closely with management to set revenue targets and track performance
  • Support brand positioning, outreach programs, and promotional activities
  • Produce periodic business development and performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or other Healthcare/Biological Science courses
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare marketing or business development
  • MBA or Business Development certification is an added advantage
  • Previous experience working in a Medical Diagnostic Centre (Laboratory and/or Imaging) is an advantage.
