We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer (Retail Operations)

Locations: Victoria Island - Lagos and Ota - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and proactive HR Officer to support our retail operations across our Victoria Island and Ota locations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing core HR functions, ensuring compliance, supporting workforce planning, and promoting a structured and professional work environment within a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for retail and warehouse staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and employee documentation processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records (physical and electronic).
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, disciplinary documentation, and other HR correspondence.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and leave administration.
  • Support payroll preparation through accurate attendance and leave reporting.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Nigerian labour laws.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and track employee performance metrics.
  • Prepare periodic HR reports for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years HR experience, preferably within a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
