Job Title: Cold Room Technician
Location: Ijesha, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial cold room and refrigeration systems
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and ensure optimal temperature/humidity control
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults promptly
- Carry out refrigerant charging, component replacement, and system testing
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety & quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cold Room / Refrigeration Technician (industrial or manufacturing setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, evaporators, and controls
- Relevant technical certification (e.g., refrigeration/HVAC qualification) is an advantage
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to work in cold environments.
