Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Sales Engineer – Turbomachinery

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Product Sales Engineer – Turbomachinery will be responsible for driving the sales of turbomachinery products by providing technical and commercial solutions to clients.
  • The role involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting project installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective engagement and post-sales support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote turbomachinery products to new and existing clients.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding technical needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct site visits, technical surveys, and product presentations to support solution-based sales.
  • Collaborate with OEMs, service centers, operations, and internal teams to ensure effective product delivery
  • Identify new sales leads and support installations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
  • Prepare technical and commercial bids and proposals.
  • Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting, technical assistance, and product training.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging turbomachinery technologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking forums.
  • Travel to client locations (onshore and offshore) – up to 60%.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of oil & gas processes
  • Understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and power transmission systems.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and internet tools.

Salary
800,000 – N1,000,000 per month.
