Job Title: Merchant Associate

About the Role
- The Merchant Associate is responsible for managing a defined portfolio of merchants, ensuring they remain active, transacting, and growing over time.
- The role focuses on revenue growth, volume expansion, assortment adoption, and merchant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned portfolio of merchants and serve as the primary point of contact through regular visits/call and monitoring their activity and proactively address inactivity risks
- Drive revenue and volume growth across the merchant portfolio through promotion of SKUs, other product categories and introducing new services to merchants to support merchants in increasing order frequency and basket size
- Ensure consistent and positive merchant experience across interactions
- Resolve commercial issues, collect merchant feedback and surface insights for further improvements
- Ensure merchant outlet information is accurate, compliant and up to date
- Use portfolio performance data to prioritize merchant actions
- Coordinate with Customer Service on escalations and retention risks
- Work with Oda Rider team on onboarding and activation initiatives or improvements
- Share insights with Product and Commercial teams where relevant.
