Job Title: Pharmaceutical Commercial & Sales Lead

Location: Abuja (FCT) / Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (with nationwide travel)
Reports To: Managing Director / CEO
Department: Commercial

Role Summary

  • The Commercial & Sales Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding distribution channels, and leading the company’s commercial operations across Nigeria.
  • The role requires a strategic and results-driven leader with strong experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s commercial and sales strategy.
  • Build and manage a nationwide distributor network.
  • Secure partnerships with hospitals, HMOs, and institutional buyers.
  • Drive growth through wholesale, retail, and pharmacy channels.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the commercial sales team.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Implement sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with production, finance, and regulatory teams to support business growth.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of revenue targets
  • Expansion of distributor network
  • Growth in hospital and institutional accounts
  • Increased national market coverage
  • Sales team productivity and performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 15 years of commercial experience, with 8 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales leadership.
  • Proven experience managing national distribution networks and key accounts.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Salary
N1,500,000 monthly with additional sales incentives and commissions.
