Job Summary
- The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing the sales lifecycle—from prospecting to closing.
- You will pitch high-speed internet, VoIP, and managed network services to residential or corporate clients, ensuring monthly targets are met while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Proactive Prospecting: Identify potential customers through cold calling, door-to-door visits (for retail), and networking at industry events.
- Territory Management: Manage and expand a specific geographic area or industry vertical to maximize fiber/service penetration.
- Lead Qualification: Filter incoming inquiries to prioritize high-value accounts and ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
Solution Selling & Presentation:Consultative Approach:
- Conduct site surveys or needs assessments to understand a client's bandwidth requirements and latency concerns.
- Technical Pitching: Present ISP solutions (GPON, Fiber-to-the-Home, Dedicated Internet Access) in a way that emphasizes reliability and speed.
- Custom Proposals: Draft accurate quotes, service level agreements (SLAs), and technical proposals tailored to client needs.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Contracting: Negotiate pricing, installation timelines, and contract terms while protecting the company's profit margins.
- Objection Handling: Address concerns regarding downtime, pricing vs. competitors, and installation hurdles.
- Onboarding: Coordinate with the technical/installation team to ensure a smooth "lit-up" process for the new customer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Category Requirements Education: HND / Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT/Telecommunications or relevant discipline.
- Experience 1–3 years in ISP, Telecom, experience is a plus.
- Technical Savvy Basic understanding of ISP terminology
