We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Customer Service Officer

Location:  Abuja (FCT) 

Job Summary

  • The Customer Service Officer is responsible for delivering excellent customer experience by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and supporting clients with microfinanceproducts and services.
  • The role ensures customer satisfaction, retention, and adherence to regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries on products, services, and transactions
  • Open and manage customer accounts in line with KYC and regulatory requirements
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution or escalation where necessary
  • Provide accurate information on loans, savings products, and repayment processes
  • Support loan application processes by guiding customers on requirements and documentation
  • Maintain proper records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Promote the institution’s products and cross-sell services to existing and prospective clients
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to management
  • Assist in daily branch operations and administrative tasks as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related field
  • 1–3years’ experience in customer service, preferably in banking or microfinance
  • Good understanding of microfinance products and financial services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle difficult customers professionally
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations and compliance (KYC/AML)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software.
