We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a high-performing Senior Business Development Manager with a strong commercial background and proven track record in driving revenue growth within the infrastructure, energy, or oil & gas sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating, developing, and closing high-value business opportunities, building strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders, and expanding the company’s footprint across target sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and revenue generation initiatives across infrastructure, energy, and related sectors.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent deal flow and conversion.
  • Identify and secure high-value contracts with government agencies, IOCs, NOCs, EPC companies, and private sector clients.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Drive commercial negotiations and contract structuring to achieve favorable business outcomes.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of RFQs, RFIs, RFPs, and tenders.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and PPP opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to guide business strategy and expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and business cases.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to align client needs with company capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant business qualification is an added advantage.
  • Technical background is beneficial and would be an added advantage but not mandatory.

Key Requirements:

  • 12–15 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Strong experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure, EPC, or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong network within government, IOCs, NOCs, or large corporate clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Experience handling tenders, bids, and large-scale commercial proposals.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project-based business environments.
  • Excellent communication and C-suite engagement skills.
