We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Posting of Suppliers Invoices on ERP
  • Process all bank payment including Fx transfer and refund, writing of cheques and present to bank for payment
  • Posting of payment voucher on ERP
  • Payment and posting of petty cash payment on accounting software
  • Performing Supplier VAT Reconciliation and producing VAT payable schedule which will agree with monthly VAT payment
  • Performing Supplier WHT Reconciliation and Despatch suppliers' WHT Credit Notes if any
  • Review and reconciliation of supplier invoice with Vendor payments on ERP
  • Preparation of Schedule of Trade creditors balances and other creditors at end of month and preparation of outstanding supplier’s invoices at year end
  • Updating google sheet of all statutory payment month by month as payment made
  • Prepare Supplier Aging Report at end of Every Month
  • Prepare, Reconciling and Processing Pension, PAYE Tax, VAT, NHF, NSITF, ITF on individual statutory payment portals
  • Ensuring Regulatory Tax Compliances including PAYE, ITF, VAT and WHT Payment (Payment on time before regulatory deadly)
  • Participating in periodic Tax Audit and end of the year audit
  • Perform any other Job requested by financial controller.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations and ERP systems.
  • Good understanding of tax and statutory compliance (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication, organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary
N350,000 to N400,000 gross monthly
