Job Summary
- The HRIS Manager will lead the management and optimization of the organization’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS) within a fast-paced fintech environment.
- This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and seamless integration with other business systems while enabling data-driven HR decisions.
- The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of HR processes in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the HRIS, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and reliability of employee data
- Lead system implementation, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvements
- Partner with Engineering/IT teams to ensure seamless integration with payroll, finance, and other business systems
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to support strategic HR and business decisions
- Drive automation of HR processes to improve efficiency and scalability
- Act as the subject matter expert for HR systems, providing support and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian data protection regulations and internal policies
- Support HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll through system optimization
- Train and support HR team members and stakeholders on HRIS usage
- Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and data governance standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Technology roles
- Experience working in fintech, tech startups, or fast-paced environments is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, BambooHR, SeamlessHR, etc.)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and tools like Power BI or SQL (an added advantage)
- Understanding of payroll systems and integration processes
- Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and data protection regulations (NDPR)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
