Job Title: Business Systems & Implementation Consultant
Location: Lagos (Remote)

Role Overview
- You will act as a Business Systems & Implementation Consultant, owning projects end-to-end from requirements discovery through system configuration and go-live.
- This is a techno-functional role: you must be equally comfortable leading stakeholder conversations, mapping business processes, and hands-on configuring systems (workflows, automations, data structures, integrations).
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis:
- Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs
- Document clear requirements (user stories, process maps, requirement specs)
- Analyze current-state workflows and identify gaps and inefficiencies
- Define future-state processes aligned with client goals
Solution Design:
- Translate business requirements into system configuration logic
- Design workflows, data models, automations, and user permissions
- Evaluate and recommend tools (CRM, HRIS, work management, automation platforms)
- Prepare solution design documents and implementation plans
Implementation & Configuration:
- Configure systems (fields, pipelines, workflows, automations, dashboards, reports)
- Set up integrations using native tools, APIs, or automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make)
- Support data migration (mapping, cleansing, validation)
- Test configurations and resolve issues prior to deployment
Go-Live & Adoption:
- Lead UAT and support go-live activities
- Deliver user training (live sessions, documentation, short videos)
- Provide early-life support and ensure successful adoption
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify optimization opportunities post-implementation
- Refine workflows and configurations based on user feedback
- Support ongoing client engagements and system enhancements
Pre-Sales Support:
- Contribute to proposals, scoping, and solution design during sales cycles
- Participate in discovery calls and solution demos
Requirements
Must-Have
- Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years in implementation consulting, business systems analysis, or SaaS/CRM administration.
- Hands-on experience configuring at least one platform (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, Zoho, Dynamics, etc.)
- Strong requirements gathering and process mapping skills
- Experience delivering at least one end-to-end system implementation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international clients
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with integrations, APIs, or automation tools (Zapier, Make, Workato)
- Exposure to Canadian or international business environments
- Basic SQL or data querying skills
- Relevant certifications (CRM, automation tools, or business systems platforms)
