Role Overview
- The Call Center Agent: Discipleship & Follow-up Specialist is responsible for engaging with individuals who respond to ministry outreach, including calls, messages, and online interactions.
- This role focuses on building relationships, providing spiritual guidance, and ensuring consistent follow-up to help individuals grow in their faith and stay connected to the ministry.
- This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, spiritual maturity, and the ability to handle a high volume of interactions in a structured call center environment while maintaining a personal and compassionate approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound and outbound calls, messages, and digital inquiries from individuals engaging with the ministry
- Provide spiritual encouragement, guidance, and prayer support as appropriate
- Conduct consistent follow-up with new and existing contacts to foster ongoing engagement and discipleship
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in CRM systems and ensure proper documentation
- Guide individuals toward next steps such as events, programs, e-courses, and local connections
- Build meaningful relationships while maintaining professionalism and boundaries
- Collaborate with ministry and media teams to align follow-up efforts with current campaigns and initiatives
- Meet established response time and follow-up benchmarks
- Handle sensitive conversations with confidentiality, care, and discernment
- Participate in training, prayer, and team development sessions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Counseling, Theology, or a related field (preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in a call center, customer service, ministry, or discipleship role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate with empathy and clarity
- High level of spiritual maturity and understanding of discipleship principles
- Ability to manage high volumes of calls and follow-ups in a structured environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data entry (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Experience in a church, ministry, or faith-based organization is highly preferred
- Personal alignment with the mission, values, and spiritual foundation of Bible Davids Ministries is essential.
