Job Summary
- The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and building strategic partnerships.
- The role requires a strong understanding of the fashion industry, customer trends, and sales strategies to enhance brand visibility and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and new markets.
- Support the execution of the company’s growth and expansion plans.
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Generate leads and convert prospects into loyal customers.
- Identify and engage corporate clients, retailers, and distributors.
- Negotiate contracts and close profitable deals.
- Increase sales through upselling and cross-selling strategies.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
- Conduct research on fashion trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Analyze market data to inform pricing, product development, and marketing strategies.
- Monitor industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Brand Development & Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and positioning.
- Represent the company at fashion events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain a structured customer database (CRM).
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- Monitor KPIs such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, or related field.
- 5-7 years experience in business development, sales, or fashion retail.
- Strong understanding of the fashion and retail industry.
- Proven track record in sales growth and client acquisition.
