Job Title: Business Development Executive (Power Sales – Industrial & Commercial)
Locations: Anambra and Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in Anambra and Enugu States.
- The role involves identifying prospects, closing supply agreements, and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire industrial and commercial customers (factories, manufacturing firms, malls, hotels, estates, hospitals, etc.)
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads across Anambra and Enugu
- Conduct site visits, energy needs assessments, and feasibility discussions with potential clients
- Present Paras Energy’s power solutions, pricing models, and reliability advantages to decision-makers
- Negotiate and close power supply agreements (PPAs or service contracts)
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the power sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, conversions, and revenue forecasts
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Number of new customers acquired
- MW of power contracted/sold
- Revenue generated
- Conversion rate from leads to signed agreements
- Customer retention and satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development (power/energy sector is a strong advantage)
- Understanding of Nigeria’s power sector (embedded generation, captive power, distribution challenges) is preferred
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively within Anambra and Enugu
- Strong network within industrial clusters is an added advantage.
