Job Title: Building Manager
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules for all facilities.
- Oversee emergency repairs, supervise third-party vendors and service providers ensuring urgent issues are addressed in line with agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Track and manage inventory of maintenance supplies to ensure availability of critical spare parts.
- Manage daily building operations including facilities, security, cleaning, and utilities
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes
- Monitor operating budgets, track expenses, and drive cost efficiency
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and statutory requirements
- Provide periodic operational and performance reports to Management
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with building safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to local building regulations in collaboration with the HSE and Legal teams.
- Oversee internal audits and coordinate with external agencies for necessary certifications.
- Evaluate and coordinate external service providers, ensuring 95% vendor compliance with service agreements
- Conduct energy efficiency audits to optimize energy usage and achieve at least a 10% energy savings target.
- Respond promptly to tenant maintenance and service requests to ensure a minimum of 90% tenant satisfaction rating.
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, regulatory authorities, and vendors.
- Manage tenant relations, including issue resolution and service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities and Estate Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5 -8 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a related role in a high value property.
- Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and energy efficiency standards.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software.
- Excellent problem-solving, and communication (written and oral) skills.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Salary
800,000 monthly net.
