Job Title: Client Service & Event Lead
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring all inquiries, daily communications, and service requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Manage corporate lunch client relationships, including daily/weekly menu coordination, approvals, and service adjustments.
- Receive, review, and coordinate client menus before implementation, ensuring alignment with agreed plans and operational capacity.
- Act as the communication bridge between corporate clients and the kitchen/operations team for menu approvals, feedback, and changes.
- Collect, document, and analyze client feedback on meals, service quality, and delivery performance, ensuring timely internal follow-up.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients through consistent engagement, updates, and service follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of client preferences, schedules, complaints, and service history.
- Coordinate resolution of client complaints by working closely with operations and escalating where necessary.
- Provide regular updates to clients on menus, service adjustments, and operational changes.
- Ensure smooth execution of daily corporate meal services in alignment with client expectations.
- Work closely with kitchen and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of corporate meals.
- Work with clients to develop customized menus aligned with event themes, budgets, and dietary requirements.
- Provide consultations on event logistics, including venue setup, catering style, timelines, and service flow.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets based on client specifications.
- Coordinate with kitchen, logistics, and service teams to ensure proper execution of events.
- Oversee full event execution to ensure smooth operations on the event day.
- Supervise event setup including food stations, buffets, décor alignment, and presentation standards.
- Coordinate food preparation, delivery, and service to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Monitor staff performance during events and provide on-site supervision and direction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during events to ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure vendor agreements and third-party services are properly executed and meet company standards.
- Maintain inventory of event supplies and ensure proper storage, tracking, and accountability.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess client satisfaction and service performance.
- Gather feedback and implement improvements for future events.
- Train and brief staff on both corporate service standards and event-specific requirements.
- Supervise assigned staff during both corporate service operations and events to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support client retention and acquisition.
- Provide periodic reports on corporate client performance, event execution, and service quality.
- Any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in client service, event management, catering, or hospitality operations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute successful events.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
Compensation, Scope of Work, and Benefits
- Salary: N180,000 - N200,000 / Month
- Days of Work: Monday – Friday (Shift Basis, depending on event schedule)
- Working Hours: 8AM- 5PM (Based on event operations; includes weekends and evenings as required)
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage
