Job Description
- The Proof of Funds (POF) Coordinator is responsible for managing, verifying, and coordinating documentation related to proof of funds requirements for clients, partners, or transactions.
- The role ensures that all submitted financial documents meet compliance standards, internal policies, and stakeholder expectations.
- The coordinator acts as a liaison between clients, financial institutions, and internal teams to facilitate smooth processing of funding confirmations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection and verification of Proof of Funds (POF) documentation from clients or partners.
- Review submitted financial documents to ensure completeness, authenticity, and compliance with internal requirements
- Liaise with banks, financial representatives, legal teams, and external stakeholders regarding funding confirmations.
- Track and monitor the status of POF submissions and approvals
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of financial documentation
- Support due diligence and compliance procedures related to financial verification
- Assist in preparing funding confirmation letters, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure timelines for submission and verification processes are met
- Communicate updates to relevant internal teams and stakeholders
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and follow up accordingly
- Support transaction readiness by ensuring funding documentation is properly validated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the same field in a bank
- Experience in marketing, documentation coordination, compliance support, banking coordination, or financial processing is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience handling Proof of Funds letters
- Background in financial services, recruitment processing, escrow coordination, or transaction support environments
- Understanding of AML / KYC compliance procedures
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills

Salary Range
N100,000 – N400,000 per month depending on experience
