We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief of Staff

Location: Onipan, Lagos Hybrid (with occasional travel)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: GCEO
Department: Executive Office

Role Summary

  • The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the GCEO, ensuring the seamless execution of company priorities across operations, logistics, and commercial teams.
  • In a fast-paced health-tech and logistics environment, this role is critical to driving alignment between supply (vendors, blood banks, suppliers), demand (hospitals, health partners), and internal teams.
  • You will ensure that strategic initiatives translate into real, measurable outcomes—improving delivery timelines, revenue performance, and service reliability.
  • This role requires a highly execution-focused leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels, with strong attention to detail and the ability to drive accountability across teams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Execution & Business Performance:

  • Translate the GCEO’s vision into actionable plans across operations, growth, and partnerships
  • Track and drive execution of key company priorities (e.g., revenue growth, delivery timelines, partner expansion)
  • Monitor core business KPIs such as order fulfillment rates, delivery time, customer retention, and revenue performance
  • Identify performance gaps and drive corrective action across teams

Operations & Logistics Optimization:

  • Work closely with operations and supply teams to improve delivery efficiency and turnaround times
  • Identify bottlenecks in supply chain (vendor sourcing, inventory, distribution) and implement solutions
  • Ensure alignment between demand (hospitals) and supply (vendors, blood banks, logistics partners)
  • Drive initiatives to improve product availability and reduce order delays

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as a central coordination point between Growth, Operations, Finance, and Product teams
  • Ensure all teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Follow up rigorously on execution and hold teams accountable for outcomes
  • Support weekly performance reviews and leadership meetings

High-Priority Projects:

  • Lead special projects such as expansion into new cities, new product lines, or partnership rollouts
  • Drive initiatives related to grants, donor funding, and strategic partnerships
  • Support execution of investor-related deliverables and reporting

Executive Support & Decision-Making:

  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and briefing materials for the GCEO
  • Support data-driven decision-making through analysis of operational and financial performance
  • Ensure the GCEO is focused on high-impact priorities by managing follow-ups and execution tracking

Stakeholder Management:

  • Support engagement with key stakeholders including hospitals, government agencies, donors, and partners
  • Ensure commitments made to stakeholders are tracked and delivered
  • Represent the GCEO in internal and select external meetings where required

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Improvement in delivery timelines and fulfillment rates
  • Growth in revenue and active health partners
  • Reduction in operational bottlenecks and delays
  • Execution rate of strategic initiatives
  • Stakeholder satisfaction (hospitals, partners, donors)

Key Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4–6years experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or a fast-growing startup
  • Experience in health-tech, logistics, supply chain, or development sector is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong execution and follow-through (critical for this role)
  • Deep problem-solving ability with a data-driven mindset
  • Strong understanding of operations, logistics, or supply chain systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

Salary
N450,000 - N500,000 per month.
