Job Title: Sales Manager / Business Development Lead 

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Drive revenue growth for a real estate company by leading property sales, securing high-value clients, and expanding market reach.
  • Develop strategic partnerships, manage sales pipelines, and close profitable deals while leading a high-performing team and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets in a competitive property market.

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth (Real Estate Focus):

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive property sales and revenue growth
  • Identify new market opportunities, property investment prospects, and expansion areas
  • Analyze real estate market trends, pricing, and competitor activities

Client Acquisition & Property Sales:

  • Lead end-to-end sales of residential and commercial properties
  • Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close high-value real estate deals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, buyers, and corporate clients

Business Development & Market Expansion:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and property listings
  • Develop strategic alliances with developers, brokers, and investors
  • Expand the company’s presence in target real estate markets

Pipeline Management & Sales Operations:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline for consistent revenue flow
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics

Negotiation, Contracts & Deal Structuring:

  • Lead negotiations on pricing, property terms, and contracts
  • Structure deals to ensure profitability and client satisfaction
  • Ensure all transactions comply with real estate regulations and company policies

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales/business development team
  • Set sales targets, monitor KPIs, and drive team performance
  • Foster a results-driven and high-performance sales culture

Marketing & Property Promotion:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote property listings
  • Support campaigns, site inspections, and property showcases
  • Enhance brand visibility within the real estate market

Stakeholder Engagement & Representation:

  • Represent the company at property events, exhibitions, and networking forums
  • Build relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and business development reports
  • Use insights to refine sales strategies and improve conversion rates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in real estate sales or business development
  • Proven track record of closing high-value property deals and meeting sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the real estate market and property sales cycle

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills (property sales experience preferred)
  • Ability to sell high-value assets (residential & commercial real estate)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Client acquisition and relationship management expertise
  • Strong business development and market expansion capabilities
  • Strategic thinking and revenue-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Leadership and team management skills
