Job Title: Senior Sales Representative
Locations: Cotonou, Sakete, Idirokgo & Bagagry - Lagos

Job Description
Market development and expansion:
- Responsible for market research on steel and textile products in Cotonou and its surrounding areas, analyzing customer needs and competitive dynamics; developing new customers (wholesalers, retailers, engineering contractors, etc.) and establishing long-term partnerships; promoting the company’s core products such as nails, rebar, mattresses, and pillows, and achieving sales targets.
Sales execution and coordination:
- Complete the sales process independently (quote generation, contract signing, payment processing, shipping, and so on).
- Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Submit sales reports regularly, analyze sales data, and develop improvement plans.
Requirement
- The supervisor needs to be familiar with port congestion situations, transit procedures, warehousing, and distribution.
- They should be able to handle unexpected situations such as cargo delays and detention at customs.
- Ability to communicate in both French and English, with the capacity to negotiate independently with local clients.
- Proficient use of office software (Word, Excel, PPT).
A plus point:
- Possess local customer resources or a network of channels in Benin.
- Familiarity with the characteristics of steel and textile products, as well as industry trends.
- Possesses a driver’s license and is proficient in driving (for ease of traveling within the region).
