We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Human Resources (HR) Manager

Location: Eti-osa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Manage onboarding and induction programs for new hires
  • Support departmental workforce planning initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
  • Foster a positive work environment and organizational culture
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate disciplinary procedures in line with company policy
  • Develop and manage performance appraisal systems
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and conducting evaluations
  • Drive performance improvement plans where necessary
  • Identify training needs and implement development programs
  • Develop and maintain the annual training calendar
  • Monitor effectiveness of training initiatives
  • Oversee payroll coordination and ensure accuracy
  • Manage employee benefits programs
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain proper HR documentation and records
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making
  • Oversee exit management processes (resignations, terminations)

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and integrity
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
