We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Human Resources Officer
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews)
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries
- Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement
Performance Management:
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems
- Track employee performance reviews and follow-ups
- Assist in developing performance improvement plans where required
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records (both physical and digital)
- Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and reports
- Ensure data confidentiality and proper record-keeping
Training & Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs
- Monitor employee participation in training initiatives
- Support leadership development and succession planning programs
Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary and benefits
- Ensure compliance with compensation policies
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
- Support audits and HR compliance reviews
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 2–4 years of relevant HR experience
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
