We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews)
  • Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries
  • Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
  • Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement

Performance Management:

  • Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems
  • Track employee performance reviews and follow-ups
  • Assist in developing performance improvement plans where required

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate employee records (both physical and digital)
  • Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and reports
  • Ensure data confidentiality and proper record-keeping

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs
  • Monitor employee participation in training initiatives
  • Support leadership development and succession planning programs

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Assist in payroll coordination and benefits administration
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary and benefits
  • Ensure compliance with compensation policies

Compliance & Policy Implementation:

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
  • Support audits and HR compliance reviews
  • Assist in updating HR policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 2–4 years of relevant HR experience
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
