Job Title: Regional Sales And Activation Manager

Industry: Wine & Whiskey (FMCG – Alcoholic Beverages)

Job Summary

  • The Regional Sales and Activation Manager will drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and expand market penetration for the company’s wine and whiskey portfolio across Lagos and its environs.
  • This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong distributor networks, hands-on market execution capability, and proven experience leading high-impact brand activations.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
  • Identify and onboard new business opportunities and distribution channels.
  • Drive product penetration across supermarkets, bars, lounges, restaurants, and liquor stores.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions to ensure target achievement.

Brand Activation & Visibility:

  • Plan and execute activations, tastings, and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure strong in-market visibility through effective merchandising and POS materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to localize and execute national campaigns within the region.

Distributor & Channel Management:

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with distributors and key trade partners.
  • Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and market coverage.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure compliance with pricing and brand standards.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead Regional Sales Executives, Brand Ambassadors, and Activation Teams.
  • Provide coaching, training, and continuous performance management.
  • Set clear targets and track team performance against business objectives.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales and activation reports.
  • Leverage insights to refine strategies and strengthen market positioning.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Manage regional sales and activation budgets efficiently.
  • Ensure cost-effective execution of campaigns and events.
  • Track and report ROI on all sales and activation initiatives.

  • Revenue and volume growth within the region
  • Distribution expansion and outlet coverage
  • Effectiveness of brand activations
  • Market share growth
  • Team productivity and performance
  • Distributor efficiency and stock availability.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7 - 10 years’ experience in sales within FMCG or the beverage/alcohol industry.
  • Strong background in brand activation, trade marketing, and distributor management.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Established network of distributors/customers within the industry.
  • Requirement: Candidate must own a functional vehicle for mobility.

Salary
N1,000,000 monthly.
