Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Description
- Heavy Duty Mechanics, also called Heavy Equipment Mechanics, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain large machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, cranes, heavy trucks, and other diesel-powered equipment used in construction, mining, agriculture, and transportation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools and manuals.
- Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and other components.
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, inspections).
- Conduct on-site/field repairs and equipment testing.
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
Key Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy machinery systems.
- Proficiency with tools, welding, schematics, and diagnostic software.
- 5+ years’ experience (or vocational training/apprenticeship).
- Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding conditions.
