Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and passionate Full Stack Developer Trainer to join our team on a part-time basis.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and exceptional teaching skills.
- You will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive curriculum to our learners, conducting weekly training sessions, and providing ongoing support through our Slack community.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development:
- Design and develop a comprehensive full-stack development curriculum
- Create a series of mini-projects to reinforce learning objectives
- Ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards and best practices.
Training Delivery:
- Conduct two 2-hour training sessions on weekends and weekday evenings
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles
- Adapt teaching methods based on learner feedback and progress.
Learner Support:
- Provide chat-based support to learners via Slack
- Answer questions, clarify concepts, and offer guidance on projects
- Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Evaluate learner progress through projects and assignments
- Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve their skills
- Identify areas where additional support or resources may be needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of modern web development technologies and frameworks, with a focus on JavaScript
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design (preferred)
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools
- Passion for education and helping others grow in their tech careers.
