We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Adhesives (East)

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and revenue generation for adhesive products across the Eastern region.
  • Combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver value‑based adhesive solutions to customers.
  • Develops and implements regional sales strategies to achieve agreed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identifies new business opportunities while expanding and managing existing customer and distributor accounts.
  • Builds strong relationships with key customers, distributors, OEMs, and other stakeholders within the region.
  • Provides technical support to customers by advising on adhesive selection, application methods, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Conducts product demonstrations, technical presentations, and supports customer trials and qualification processes.
  • Collaborates with internal teams including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Monitors market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, providing timely market intelligence to support business decisions.
  • Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through effective after‑sales support and timely resolution of technical or commercial issues.
  • Maintains accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM records in line with company expectations.
  • Supports pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements within approved guidelines.
  • Ensures full compliance with company policies, quality management systems, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of adhesive technologies including structural, industrial, hot‑melt, and pressure‑sensitive adhesives.
  • Possesses excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills with a strong customer‑focused mindset.
  • Able to work independently, manage regional travel, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
