Job Summary

  • We are seeking to hire experienced professionals who will be responsible for assisting the Head of HR & Admin in providing strategic leadership in human capital management and general administration.
  • The Assistant Manager will support the Head of HR & Admin in providing strategic leadership in human capital management and general administration to support the organization.
  • S/he will directly report to the Head of HR &Admin

Responsibilities
The duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support in aligning the HR and administrative strategies with the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the Company
  • Support in the development and enforcement of HR and administrative policies that reflect global best practices and comply with Nigerian labor laws, public service regulations, and procurement rules.
  • Support in managing the recruitment and selection process, ensuring transparent, merit-based hiring of top talent in line with public service regulations and sectoral needs.
  • Assist in coordinating day-to-day administrative operations and office activities in line with approved policies and procedures.
  • Support the Implementation of administrative systems, processes, and controls to support efficient operations delivery.
  • Assist in the Facilitation of departmental and inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth workflow across the organisation.
  • Managed documentation, filing systems, and records to ensure ease of retrieval, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Provide support in the discharge of general administration functions, including fleet management, facility management, procurement of office supplies, and security coordination.
  • Assist in ensuring the timely and effective resolution of grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict management across departments.
  • Ensure timely and confidential distribution of payslips to employees.
  • Identify process gaps and support the implementation of improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Industrial Relations or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ relevant experience in administration, operations, or related roles.
  • Good knowledge of HR and administrative systems in public and private sector contexts.
  • Familiarity with HR software packages such as Zoho, QuickBooks, or Sage is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and administrative management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within structured processes, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
